Yeovil Town's latest signing might not score any goals, but could help the club claim to be top of the shops!

Huish Park bosses today formally completed a deal with the Quedam Shopping Centre (Yeovil) to extend the Centre's support for the club for a further year.

As well as continuing to be the main sponsor for the successful Yeovil Town Ladies set up, the Centre will also be the club's official partner in the Kick Racism out of Football and Give Racism the Red Card campaigns.

The package agreed also covers a new idea for Huish Park - inward facing advertising hoardings - as well as options for the club to use facilities at the Quedam Centre to promote games.

Speaking on behalf of the club, Commercial Manager Dave Linney said,

"I am delighted with the strong partnership between Yeovil Town Football Club and the Quedam Shopping Centre which has spanned over a number of seasons.

The additional association with the Kick Racism out of football campaign goes to show the Quedam Shopping Centre's continued support of Yeovil Town FC both on the football field with the sponsorship of the successful Ladies team, but also off the field of play, with the supporters".

Commenting on behalf of the Quedam Shopping Centre, Manager David Mills said,

"This deal cements the already excellent relations between Yeovil Town Football Club and the Quedam Centre.

We are delighted to back the club as not only do the League One and Ladies team play great football at a high level, but the club and Centre share similar aspirations to be both successful at what we do and take a leading role in the community".

Speaking in respect of the tie in with the Club's anti racism campaigns, David Mills said

"The population in and around Yeovil is becoming increasingly diverse, so it is the perfect time for us to underscore our support of the club's efforts in the Kick Racism out of Football and Give Racism the Red Card campaigns".
