Lee Peltier joined Yeovil Town on a long term loan in August 2007, and made an immediate impact with a fine performance in the pre-season friendly game against Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Lee is a pacey central midfield player, with good ball control and passing ability, and likes to get forward, giving good service in and around the opposing box.
He was born in Toxteth in 1986 and was a regular member of Liverpool's reserve team squad last season, playing in either midfield or defence.
He is highly rated at Anfield, and has added much to the Yeovil Town squad as they look to put in a promotion bid this season.
Lee made his Liverpool first team debut in the League Cup against Reading in October 2006.
He went on to play against Galatasaray in December of that year in the UEFA Cup, operating at right back.
He made a total of four appearances for the Reds in different cup competitions, but is yet to play in the Premiership.
Liverpool boss Rafael Benítez decided to expand Lee's experience at the end of the 2006/07 season, sending him out on loan to Championship side Hull City.
He did well with the Tigers, and in making seven appearances, he did much to stave off the threat of relegation for his adopted club.
He was involved in Liverpool's pre-season friendlies this year, and scored his first goal for the club against Crewe Alexandra in July.
Lee has been ever present in the Yeovil side since joining the club, and is now a vital component of the midfield.
