Kieran began his career as an academy player at Charlton Athletic. He signed for Fisher Athletic in November 2007 and  was named young player of the year during the 2007/ 08 season after making a total of 21 appearances for the fish, scoring 1 goal.

The former Charlton Academy youngster attracted attention from a number of Football League Clubs including Nottingham Forest and Brentford before being invited to spend two days on trial with Premiership side Fulham.

Kieran was due to spend Pre Season with the Premiership side but signed a two year deal to join Yeovil in June 2008.
