Summer Soccer Schools
Dear Sir,
May I take this opportunity to congratulate you on the fantastic work of John Flatters and his team of loyal assistants, for providing another fabulous week of summer soccer for the youth of this area.
My son has attended for his third year and has once again had an amazing time. The hard work and dedication, together with the contributions and appearances of the Manager and Players, are a credit not only to your Club, but to football as a whole.
In addition to recommending the Summer Soccer School to numerous families in the area, I am now a vocal advocate of your club and happily transport from Ilminster, a car of budding new signings who attend each day with enthusiasm and passion that is both a joy and privilege to witness.
Working for a local law firm specialising in criminal defence work in Youth Courts, I know only too well how easy it is for bored youngsters to be corrupted by improper peer influences with disastrous consequences.
Your Summer Soccer School provides a much needed opportunity for youngsters from any background to enjoy the pleasures of sport and the influences and encouragement of a dedicated band of professionals.
Whatever their ability, each child is treated with respect and consideration according to their needs, and you should be justly proud in particular of the team of young lads who act as such brilliant role models for the next generation.
At a time when there is so much controversy in the sporting world, Yeovil Town Football Club is a leading light in the provision of this facility which embodies the true meaning of sportsmanship.
In particular the enthusiasm of John Flatters and his team is totally infectious, and I believe there will be a great many talents out there today, who in years to come, will reflect back to their coaching experiences at the Summer School with the acknowledgement that this is where they were inspired by the game. The dedication and professionalism of all those involved is a credit to the Club as a result.
As Chairman of Yeovil Town F.C you must be very proud of their efforts and achievements in the community on behalf of your Club, long may they continue and be given the recognition they deserve but would likely never seek.
Yours sincerely.
Sally Lowe
