A letter recently received by the club thanking Community Officer John Flatters for one of the Summer Soccer Schools held at Ilchester in August 2007.

Dear Jim and Staff,

I would like to thank you, all your coaches and staff for yet another excellent soccer school.

Through YTFC, you provide a valuable service to the community by giving young people a focus and purpose through football which is important for their development.

This is particularly important during the school holidays where so many can become engaged in anti social behaviour due to lack of opportunities available.

Liam and his friends have enjoyed being part of this week where they have developed their footballing skills, learned to bond as a team and enjoy themselves.

This is down to the skill of the coaches, your guidance and discipline whilst engendering a sense of fun and encouragement.

Seeing the managers and players is a great highlight of the week and we look forward to your next soccer school, hopefully at Huish Park.

Thank you once again for a brilliant week, please do keep up the hard work as it pays off in the community.

Thank you for your kind assistance.

Sincerely,

Paul Cregan
